cleaning

i typically am a clean freak, or at least i want to be.  maybe more like a neat freak.  my house stays filthy, but i try to keep it picked up at least.  i like things to be in their places and am definitely a "less is more" kinda girl.  so when i opened up my home to 4 children other than my own, i was definitely unusre of the outcome of what 6 small children can do to a place in such a short amount of time.  for instance ...

it's been worse.  but i clean it 3 times a day.  every day.  could you imagine what it would be like if i didn't clean every day?!?  don't even think about it.  it'd be nasty for sure.  these babies are messy!!!  but i wouldn't have it any other way.  the way i see it, if my house is dirty, that means babies were playing and eating.  and that's a good thing.

here we go again

i ended up creating a new blogger account, so we shall see if i can post pictures this time.  i'm not really sure what happened and now i have a lot to catch up on.  bear with me, keep reading, and enjoy.  our days will be full from now until Christmas!

thankfulness

the entire month of november we talked about things we were thankful for.  i made this fall tree (aka the burning bush) and put it up on the wall to enjoy for the month.  it provided a little decoration and the kids absolutely loved looking at it.  maybe it was a site for sore eyes or maybe they thought it was nice.

i'm not sure if you can tell what the words are, but the big girls told me some things they were thankful for that day and we wrote them on our leaves.  everyones names are up there.  giraffe.  home.  food.  etc.  the usual.  well, all except giraffe.  that was S's idea.  :)   i'm thankful for giraffes too.  they're kinda cute!
